Other engines also require dealer-scheduled maintenance every year, whereas with an Evinrude E-TEC, you don’t have a scheduled trip to the dealer for 3 years or 300 hours. Evinrude E-TEC engines also feature auto winterization which allows you to quickly winterize your engine so you can take advantage of every possible day on the water.
Power and performance mean a better experience, and the speed/torque of the Evinrude E-TEC engine is an incredible experience. With 23% more torque that a comparable 4-stroke, hole shots will feel more like sling shots. An Evinrude engine is as much as 100+ pounds lighter than competitive engines, so you’re on plane faster with less bow rise and more speed. And with approximately twice the fuel economy at idle versus competitor’s engines, you’ll have more time on the water and less at the pump.
